You own your practice.
We make it easier.
If you work in a W-2 or 1099 setting, you’re giving up more of your income than you need to. Beyond that, you’re probably sometimes forced to accept clients which aren’t a great fit.
If you’re operating a private practice alone, you’ll have to spend time writing invoices, collecting client payments, or sending superbills for insurance reimbursement. You’ve almost certainly had clients you wanted advice for, or had days where you needed a peer.
Our mission is to handle the “business” of your practice, so you can focus on the client. We’ve set out to solve the two biggest challenges faced by clinicians in private practice: the administrative workload and the lack of clinical support.
Whether you’re already operating your practice and looking for increased income and more time, or you’re thinking about starting a private practice, we can help.
Traditional Models
The Clinical Collective
W-2 and 1099 clinicians lose up to 80% of their potential income in exchange for billing, clinical and technology support.
This is the difference between what your clients pay your employer, and what the employer pays you.
An example:
The Medicare reimbursement rate for individual psychotherapy (#90837) is approximately $150/session.
At $150/session, for a 25-client case load, clients will pay a total of $195,000 each year ($150 x 25 clients x 52 weeks).
Independent contractors (1099) and W-2 employees often receive as little as 40% of client payments. Some agreements are even worse.
At 40%, the clinician makes $78,000/year while the business makes $117,000.
At The Clinical Collective, the same clinician makes over $180,000/year.
A clinician with a six-client case load can save over $25,000 a year with The Clinical Collective.

Even a part-time private practice offers so many benefits: increased income, the freedom to choose the right clients and to make your own schedule, and the independence of working for yourself.
However, private practice can be challenging - it can be difficult to find new clients, to keep up with billing, or to find clinical support when you have questions or a challenging case.
The Clinical Collective’s unique approach combines the benefits of W-2/1099 work (such as administrative and clinical support) with the independence and income potential of private practice.
